Sensual colour collection

Expressing our sensuality is now seen as something vital for a healthy and happy state of mind, and according to Wella Professionals Trend Vision forecast, it is a key trend seen in all areas of our lifestyle, from interior design to the beauty world, as well as our hairstyle.
The German hair and beauty brand enlisted its famed global creative director, Josh Wood, to translate this trend into the Sensual Colour collection, which includes four looks that demonstrate how colour can reveal the sensuality of your hair.
Based in London, Wood is one of the world's top hair colourist and hailed as an innovator in hair colour.
"Sensual colour is about putting passion into hair with many layers of smouldering colours that enhance a strong femininity," Wood said of his idea for the four cutting edge looks: Sensual Nature, Sensual Fusion, Sensual Drama and Sensual Poetry.
A tribute to nature and the autumn season, the Sensual Nature chic short hair look combines rich autumnal tones with voluminous styles while soft layering makes sensual hair come alive, revealing rich natural browns and coppers alongside softer, lighter hidden shades.
Browns are also a key colour for the bolder Sensual Fusion cut, but with greater impact from beautifully veiled textures infused with multiple bright accents, combining both warm and cool spicy browns. The colouring, therefore, evolves at every turn to express hair sensuality.
Sensual Drama takes it inspiration from seeing the world as a stage for self expression _ and with long hair, you can get this look and put yourself in the spotlight. A colour code of seduction, the contrasting blackberry and dark cherry is used for this drama queen haircut that showcases healthy long strands.
In contrast, the Sensual Poetry look is inspired by a serene world full of romantic, poetic dreams that give an ethereal lightness and transparency to the wavy, long hairstyle. The cut also involves layering to shimmering hair colour that are offset with muted pastels.
The four looks are created by Wella Professionals' colour palette and layering techniques, which achieve multi-dimensional results, and greater richness in tones, offering a sensual colour effect.
