The opening Award ceremony of [Top Ten Asian Stars] was held on 23th February 2002. Ruby Lin, Richie Ren and Zhao Wei attended the ceremony as shown in the picture.
The previous night, Zhao Wei was awarded first in the poll of [Top Ten Asian Stars]. Last night she was in the most energetic mood as she jetted off to England for commercial shoots and at the same time to have a good rest. At the beginning of the Horse Year, Zhao Wei had shed off her bad luck as good news keep coming in and she is a “happy Little Swallow” again!
According to the report, in the net poll of [Top Ten Asian Stars] jointly organised by CETV and American Time Magazine, Taiwanese Richie Ren and Ruby Lin were among the top ten, while Leon Lai and Andy Lau were the Hongkong stars. However, it was Zhao Wei from China who got the most votes. Zhao Wei, Richie Ren and Ruby Lin attended the award ceremony in Beijing the previous night. Zhao Wei was in high spirits and thanked all her supporters.
The grown up Zhao Wei flew to England this time for a cosmetic commercial shoots. She also revealed her feeling about love affairs. “I like my carefree life now. Although I have no boyfriend currently, it doesn’t matter. I have accepted the fact and now, work is more important to me.”
